How the Money Is Made
Every line CEMI Media sells, who pays for it, and the price we publish for it. Where a price is not already public on this site, this page says «on request» rather than inventing one.
The streams
Income-source labels are the shared CEMI vocabulary, not free text. Prices are quoted from the page that publishes them, with its path.
| What is sold | Who pays | Income source | Published price | Status | Role in the plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Retained monthly production programmes — a contracted volume of video and digital content each month | B2B — mid-market brands, large corporations, media and publishers | Sale of services | «US$5K–$25K/month» — /investors/business-plan/, Pricing | Live | First by weight. The base the plan grows from; the recurring billing that already covers the fixed cost base |
| Project production — campaigns, brand films, one-off pieces, including work executed behind an agency that keeps the client | B2B and B2B2C — brands directly, and agencies for their own clients | Sale of services | «$5K–$50K» — /investors/business-plan/, Pricing. The budget bands on /contact/ are the same scale: «Under $5,000», «$5,000 - $15,000», «$15,000 - $50,000», «$50,000+» | Live | Second by weight, and the fastest to capture — the seasonal windows in the plan's growth roadmap are all project work |
| Live AI events — digital hosts, conversational avatars, interactive agendas, same-day recaps | B2B, B2G and institutions running conferences and seminars | Sale of services | «Per event, scoped» — /investors/business-plan/, Pricing. On request | Live | Third, and higher margin. Pulls core production through with it |
| Interactive digital — multilingual sites, simulations, data visualisations | B2B and B2G | Sale of services | On request. No price for this line is published on this site | Live | Adjacent. Sold into accounts the production work already opened |
| Original music and AI casting — royalty-free scores, sonic identity, and characters from the casting roster | B2B — brands and agencies | Sale of services · licensing and royalties | On request. Sold inside productions today; no standalone price is published | Live | Margin rather than volume: owned assets that remove talent fees and rights renewals from the cost of every production |
| Masterclass programmes — AI video production, and AI video strategy for media executives | B2B and academia — creative teams, media executives, institutions | Training and events | On request. /masterclass/ publishes the programmes, not a price | Live | Small in the plan, large in reach: the programmes put us in front of the buyers of every other line |
| Media Innovation Lab — a media partner contributes to the Lab's R&D and gets first access to what it develops | B2B — media groups and outlets | Sponsorships | No amount published. /lab/ states the mechanism only: «Bring your outlets, your archive and your teams. Contribute to the Lab's R&D as a deductible contribution and access everything it develops, first.» | Planned | Outside the base plan. Nothing in the projections depends on it, and no partner is announced |
| Media Innovation Lab — sponsorship of an area, a format or a named challenge, and grant funding | B2B, B2G and B2NGO — companies, international bodies, public agencies | Sponsorships · grants and donations | No amount published. /lab/: «Back an area, a format or a named challenge. Companies, international bodies and public agencies fund the technologies the Lab builds.» | Planned | Outside the base plan, and not counted in it. No sponsor or grant is committed |
What is not published here, and why
CEMI Media is not pre-revenue: it operates on monthly retainers with clients across telecommunications, finance, insurance, education, retail and real estate, among others, and that recurring billing already covers the fixed cost base. What this page does not carry is revenue to date, the run rate, per-client billing or client names. Those are commercial terms belonging to the clients as much as to us, and publishing them beside a client's name would expose their pricing.
Basis of preparation: operations begin August 2026. The base is our recurring monthly billing from our clients, grown 10% to 20% per quarter. Client names and individual billing figures are not published; they are available to investors on request.
Prices above are quoted from the pages that publish them and nowhere else. Where nothing is published, the line says so. The same set of streams is recorded in the CEMI business-profile record for this property, and the two are kept in step: a change here is made there first.
